If you are fluent in English, have any level of foreign language skill and would like to submit translations to Press Interpreter, register for a Press Interpreter account by filling in the information below.
Press Interpreter is an Internet community of people of all levels of language skill who translate articles from the foreign language press into English on a volunteer basis. A participant may do this for one or several of the following reasons: (1) making regular translations allows her to improve her foreign language skills; (2) making regular translations allows her to improve her understanding and awareness of the parts of the world where the foreign language is spoken; (3) making regular translations allows her to help make Anglophone readers more familiar with those parts of the world.
You are welcome to submit translations from any newspaper from any foreign language. There is no minimum time, length, or frequency commitment. Be sure to read carefully the detailed participation instructions that will be emailed to you once you register. Submissions that do not conform to the instructions may not be posted.
Note: Your email address, which is required to create an account, will never be made available to others, but your username (which is also required) as well as any optional information you provide in the "Personal" box will be generally accessible by visitors to the site.
